Success for the First 44.7!
Courrier du Coeur, the First 44.7 skippered by Gery Trentasaux
won the 100th edition of the Cowes Dinard Race in IRC 0 forward
of any other Beneteau: a First 44.7. In changeable conditions
(wind from 10 to 30 knots) and mainly down wind, the First 44.7,
who already won the Commodore's Cup with the French Team, sailed
the 140 nautical miles in only 18 hours.

First 44.7 Four Stars Wins in
the Newport Bermuda Race
This race showed once again the all round performance of the Farr
designed First 44.7. "We continue to be surprised at how
well she handles in all conditions. It was a thrilling race and
this is a very exciting race for me and my crew," said Tim
McAdams. Winners were presented their trophies by the Princess
Royal, Princess Ann, President of the Royal Yachting Association.
